Artist Ivan Belikov hails from Chelyabinsk, Russian Federation and is a freelance illustrator who is inspired by beasts, feathers and grass. (Seriously, it says this on his official BEHANCE PAGE.) As we were going through his Behance portfolio, we became immediately enamored with his “Social Networks” series.
Comprised of 6 stunning images, Ivan gives some of the most influential social networks in the world some rather compelling makeovers.
Ivan broke up the series into 2 parts and here is what he had to say about each one.
Unlike part one, which is based on interpreting of social media logotypes, networks from part two do not contain any special images. So for the next illustrations some references which are close to specific media but aren’t strongly connected to them are used.
* By adding the letter “e” TUMBLR transforms into TUMBLeR. This opens more ways of interpreting.
